Police, search and rescue deal with ‘incredibly busy’ week

RCMP says there were 10 calls requiring police, SAR or Whistler Blackcomb assistance
It’s been a busy week for local authorities that have had to deal with an unusually high number of backcountry incidents across the Sea to Sky. “Whistler and Pemberton RCMP have noted a spike in calls requiring the assistance of Whistler Search and Rescue, Pemberton Search and Rescue and Whistler Blackcomb Ski Patrol this past week,” police said in a release.…
