Fuel spill halts Horseshoe Bay sailing

One round-trip sailing from Horseshoe Bay to the Sunshine Coast was cancelled Wednesday morning after a semi-truck punctured its fuel tank while loading on to the ferry, spewing about 200 litres of oil on to the deck and vehicle ramp of a BC Ferries vessel. Crews deployed absorbent pads and put a containment boom in place after the fuel spill.…
