Canadian cannabis use is soaring, says U.N.’s World Drug Report

Canadian cannabis use among those who are at least 15 years old soared 62 per cent to 14.8 per cent between 2011 and 2017, according to the 2019 World Drug Report, which the United Nations’ Office on Drugs and Crime released on June 26. The report cited relatively stable cannabis use in the country between 2004 and 2011, when it was 9.1 per cent.…
