Local police responded to 88 calls for service over the May long weekend-including a reported sexual assault, a fight in the village, along with some other less serious incidents. With a “strong presence” in the village, Whistler RCMP was able to intervene in “a couple of weapons-related calls and fights,” ultimately “preventing serious injury or loss of life to anyone,” according to a release.…
