The Village of Pemberton (VOP) has taken a first important step in developing a community forest in partnership with the Lil’wat Nation. According to VOP Mayor Mike Richman, being partners in a community forest will give the Village more say in how the forests surrounding Pemberton are harvested and could result in revenue for Village coffers as well.…
