Public asked not to post photos where police officers can be located

Squamish police are warning the public to “leave the area of the Stawamus Chief” and avoid the area due to “a police incident,” RCMP wrote in a tweet on Tuesday afternoon. The tweet, published at 12:19 p.m., also warned the public to expect a “noted police presence” in the area, and requested that those nearby refrain from posting photos where RCMP members can be located.…
