The role will help deal with dizzying pace of development on Nation’s traditional territories

To help deal with a massive influx of development on the Squamish Nation’s traditional territories, the Nation has created a new job and hired someone to do it. Whether it be a small bridge crossing a creek or a megaproject like Woodfibre LNG, the director of rights and title will be playing a key role in gathering the information needed to help with consultation and negotiations with various parties, such as developers or the government.…
