Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) has introduced a new fee for open work permit applicants, which includes those hoping to participate in the federal working holiday visa program, a significant portion of Whistler’s workforce. CIC began collecting the new $100 fee on Feb. 21 in addition to an existing $150 participation fee.…
