Avalanche Canada forecasts “dangerous avalanche conditions”

It’s the last day of the year, and the snow (and rain) is falling. Though there are not currently any weather alerts in effect for the Whistler region, the heavy precipitation is the result of “the first of multiple systems being pushed in to B.C. from an atmospheric river,” that will continue to affect B.C.’s South Coast throughout New Year’s Eve, according to the Weather Network.…
