Squamish-Lillooet Regional District implements travel advisory for road leading to the Hurley FSR

The Squamish-Lillooet Regional District (SLRD) has implemented a travel advisory for the Lillooet River Forest Service Road (FSR) after raising the road’s landslide hazard level to high. The hazard level for the road-which links the communities of Pemberton and Mount Currie to the Hurley FSR-was elevated on Tuesday, Aug. 7 due to a series of high-temperature days the region observed over the past week, explained the SLRD in the advisory posted to their website.…
