A Vancouver woman who holds the distinction of being the first Indigenous woman to start an airline in Canada will give the keynote speech for the Indigenous Tourism Start Up Program, which takes place in Whistler this fall. Launched by the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre (SLCC) and the Whistler Centre for Sustainability, the program will seek to equip 14 budding Indigenous entrepreneurs with a plan—and inspiration—to launch their own tourism venture.…
