Even just a week ago, if you were to look up at the snow line, you could be forgiven for thinking that Whistler Blackcomb (WB) may have some trouble getting enough runs ready for opening day. But with a recent cold snap dropping alpine temperatures to as low as -12C, the resort’s 240 snow guns have kicked into high gear, turning six million gallons of water into powder in under 24 hours earlier this week.…
