BC Ferries will add 28 extra sailings for the Remembrance Day long weekend and honour military personal and seniors with free passenger travel. Village of Pemberton (VOP) council broke to hold a scheduled public hearing during its Nov. 5 regular council meeting to hear from the public on proposed changes to the VOP’s official community plan (OCP) and zoning bylaw. Airline aims to ‘electrify the whole fleet’—eventually
Harbour Air has taken a significant step in its goal of creating an electric fleet of seaplanes, but it will likely be several years before Whisterites see one touch down on Green Lake.
