Whistler Blackcomb is delaying the start of its Athlete Development Programs, according to an email sent to athletes and their parents. While the mountain’s opening day is still set for Thursday, Nov. 28, the start date for Skier Development, Ultimate 8, Race Development, Freestyle Development, Jr Freeride, All Mountain Development, All Mountain Academy, and Freeride Club has been pushed back a week to Dec. 7.Because they are starting later, the programs will also finish a week later on the weekend of April 18, according to the email.…
