Whistler Brewing Company’s Black Tusk Ale nabs hardware for Best Mild Dark Beer

B.C. craft breweries won big at the 2018 World Beer Awards, picking up two coveted Best in the World honours, beating out more than 2,300 entries from 500 producers and 50 countries worldwide. The resort’s own Whistler Brewing Company also earned hardware at the awards, grabbing a national gold medal, as it did last year, in the Best Mild Dark Beer category for its beloved Black Tusk Ale, an English-style ale made from a blend of imported chocolate and roasted malts.…
